How I Farm 250+ Starry Ore Every Month in Clash of Clans
I still remember the first time a new epic equipment dropped in Clash of Clans. My clan chat exploded, and everyone had the same thought: nice, but how are we supposed to max this? I told myself it was pay-to-win. I told myself other players were grinding 24/7. By 2026, I have stopped pretending. The players who keep up are not playing harder. They are playing smarter, and Starry Ore is the clearest proof.
The Starry Ore problem
Starry Ore is the most valuable ore in the game. It is required for epic equipment upgrades, and it is the hardest ore to farm consistently. Shiny and Glowy ore matter, sure, but Starry Ore is the bottleneck that decides whether my epic equipment actually moves forward.
For a long time, I treated Starry Ore like a rare loot drop. Except I need hundreds of it. Cool. Very cool.
Here is the annoying truth: I do not need ten different tricks. I need one repeatable system. So I focus only on consistent sources:
-
⚔️ Clan Wars
-
🏆 Clan War League
-
⭐ Daily Star Bonus
-
🪙 Raid Medals
I ignore gems and chests. Not because they are useless, but because they are unreliable or inefficient for this specific goal. Starry Ore does not care about my excuses.
Clan Wars: the salary job
This is where most players mess up. We either take wars too seriously or ignore them completely. Both are wrong.
I stopped treating every war like life or death. I also stopped skipping wars. Even with average performance, the Starry Ore stacks fast. Over a month, that is roughly 135 Starry Ore. Not insane. But solid. Like a salary job. Winning more wars gives more, and better war bases help, but the key is showing up consistently.
Clan War League: free progress for showing up
CWL feels stressful. I get it. Seven wars, pressure, lineup drama, all of it. But the rewards are clean.
If I assume seven wars with four wins and three losses, I get around 33 Starry Ore. Not huge, but it is basically free progress for participating. I do not need to overthink it. I just need to be there and do my hits.
Daily Star Bonus: the quiet MVP
I do not like this one. Too repetitive. But it is lowkey the MVP.

If I push to Electro League 31, I get 2 Starry Ore per day. That is 60 per month. The daily Star Bonus just sits there, quietly carrying my whole ore economy on its back. That one boring daily task is doing more work than most fancy strategies.
Raid Medals: the loot I was walking past

This one was just sitting there. Ignored. Unbothered. Quietly broken.
700 raid medals = 10 Starry Ore per week. That is 40 per month, and 520 per year. I had literally been walking past free loot. Better Clan Capital attacks help me earn more medals, but even without perfect attacks, spending medals weekly is a simple habit.
Gems and chests: nice, not dependable
Gems are better used elsewhere unless I am stacked. Chests are not reliable. Can they help? Sure. Should I depend on them? Nope. My system cannot be built on maybe.
The monthly math

| Source | Starry Ore per month |
|---|---|
| Clan Wars | ~135 |
| Clan War League | ~33 |
| Daily Star Bonus | ~60 |
| Raid Medals | ~40 |
| Total | 250+ |
No money. No crazy grind. Just consistency.
Why this matters for epic equipment
Here is the part most people underestimate. One epic equipment takes 480 Starry Ore to max. I farm around 250 per month. So in about two months, I can max one full epic equipment. Since new epics drop roughly every two months, I can keep up. Even as free-to-play. No cap.
That does not mean I max everything instantly. It means I stop falling behind every time a new epic appears.
My simple routine
-
Play wars casually, but do not skip them.
-
Hit the daily Star Bonus.
-
Spend raid medals weekly.
That is it. No secret trick. No hidden glitch. Just doing the obvious things consistently.
Which is annoying. But yeah. It works.
